This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Claridad collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. By using findclaridad.com or booking any Claridad service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. WHO WE ARE

Claridad is a relationship preparation, enrichment, and ceremony officiation service operated by Lourdes D. Ramon d/b/a Claridad, located in St. Augustine, Florida. Our website is findclaridad.com. You can reach us at hola@findclaridad.com.

2. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you provide directly

  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number

  • Partner information: your partner’s name and email address (provided by you at booking)

  • Scheduling information: availability, session preferences, language preference

  • Intake form responses: relationship context, how you found Claridad, what you hope to explore

  • Payment information: processed securely through Stripe. Claridad does not store credit card numbers.

  • Communications: emails, messages, and any written content you send us

Information collected automatically

  • Website usage data: pages visited, time on site, referring URL, browser type, device type

  • Cookie data: see our Cookie Policy for full details

  • IP address: collected by our hosting platform (Squarespace) and analytics tools

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information you provide to:

  • Schedule and conduct facilitation and ceremony sessions

  • Send confirmations, reminders, and session-related communications

  • Deliver the Claridad Welcome Packet, Reflection Guide, and Post-Process Resource Guide

  • Process payments

  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support

  • Improve the Claridad website and services

We do not use your personal information for advertising purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing use.

4. SESSION & INVENTORY DATA

Claridad uses the FOCCUS Pre-Marriage Inventory and the REFOCCUS Marriage Enrichment Inventory, administered through the FOCCUS Inc. USA online platform. By completing the inventory, you agree to FOCCUS Inc. USA’s own terms of use and privacy practices. Claridad accesses your couple report for facilitation purposes only.

Session notes prepared by the Claridad facilitator are stored securely in a private Google Drive folder. They are never shared with any third party without your explicit written consent. Upon completion of your Claridad process, FOCCUS inventory materials are securely destroyed in accordance with FOCCUS Inc. USA facilitator protocols. Session notes prepared by Claridad are retained for five (5) years per our data retention policy and then securely deleted.

5. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Squarespace (website hosting), Acuity Scheduling (booking), Stripe (payments), Zoom (video sessions), Google Drive and Gmail via Google Workspace (document storage and email). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

  • Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

  • Safety: if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person.

We never share your name, contact information, intake responses, session notes, or inventory results with any wedding vendor, referral partner, or third party without your explicit written consent.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. Client files are retained for five (5) years from the date of your last session, after which they are securely deleted. We may retain certain records longer if required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hola@findclaridad.com.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations

  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying STOP or contacting hola@findclaridad.com

  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format upon request

8. SECURITY

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected storage, and limited access controls. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your information using reasonable means.

9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Claridad’s services are intended for adults (18 and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at hola@findclaridad.com.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of findclaridad.com after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
